1. Where can I use my Dorsett Prestige membership?

The following hotels accept both the membership card and the accommodation vouchers:

2. How much does it cost to join Dorsett Prestige?

The Dorsett Prestige membership fee is a one-time payment of only RM498.00 for a year of privileges. Please complete the Membership Application form or contact us at +603-5033 7491 / 92 for further details.

 
3. What does '10% off Best Available Rate' mean?

You will be entitled to 10% off the Best Available Rate for all room categories in all the participating hotels (applicable only in the participating hotel at time of booking). Please note that 10% off Best Available Rate would normally be the lowest rate of the day depending on the occupancy of the hotel and subject to availability.

 
4. What are the new privileges available for members of the Dorsett Prestige Club?

Members can look forward to additional privileges and exclusive promotions such as special season offers, accommodation and dining deals or room upgrades, health and fitness packages, and much more.

 
5. How do I utilise my dining privileges?

Dining Reservations: To make a table reservation, please contact the relevant hotel's restaurant. Please state that you are a Dorsett Prestige Member and your intention to use your dining voucher or member privileges. This is to ensure that you have a pleasant dining experience and your bills are discounted accordingly.

Dining Payment: To enjoy your dining privileges, simply present your Dorsett Prestige card to the restaurant after receiving your bill. The total amount will then be revised accordingly.

 
6. What is the meaning of 'full published room rates', 'full regular room rates' and 'rack rates' ?

'Full published room rates', 'full regular room rates' and 'rack rates' refer to the maximum, published and non-discounted room rates.

 
7. What is the meaning of 'subject to space availability', and 'not valid through periods of expected high hotel occupancy' ?

The Dorsett Prestige accommodation rates are subject to space availability and may not be valid through periods of high hotel occupancy, or where blackout periods may apply during peak seasons. Whilst every conceivable effort will be made to honour your request for a room at the Dorsett Prestige accommodation rate, there will be periods such as peak seasons, holiday periods, special events, etc. when it may not be possible.

 
8. Why can I sometimes enjoy better room rates than the rates available through my room vouchers?

Occasionally (often during low occupancy periods), there will be discounted room rates available which are the same or lower than the rates afforded by your room vouchers. In this event, it may be advisable to use the 10% off Best Available Rate and save your room vouchers for another stay.

Note: The room vouchers and/or rates may not be utilised in conjunction with any other discounted room rates, special promotional rates or package rates, etc.

 
9. What happens if my Dorsett Prestige Card is lost or stolen?

If your Dorsett Prestige membership documents have been lost or stolen, please report the incident as soon as possible so that your membership number may be invalidated. Please note that the replacements of lost or stolen membership documents are not guaranteed.

10. What is the difference between Dorsett Prestige and Dorsett Travelers Club?

Dorsett Prestige and The Dorsett Travelers Club are different membership programmes offering different benefits.

Dorsett Prestige rewards members with dining and room privileges in the five participating hotels listed above.

The Dorsett Travelers Club is a unique hotel loyalty programme that unites a variety of properties - I including four-and five-star independent hotels and resorts - from around the world. The Travelers Card rewards you with exclusive membership privileges and points toward free hotel rooms for every dollar you spend at all participating VOILÀ hotels worldwide. Although different, the benefits of Dorsett Prestige and The Dorsett Travelers programmes work 'hand in hand', as such it may be advisable to enrol in both programs.

11. How does a Dorsett Prestige Member arrange payment?

Dorsett Prestige Members pay an annual subscription fee. Payment and enrollment will be carried out directly over the phone by one of our professionally trained Dorsett Prestige Consultants and the membership fee will be charged to your credit card. Membership may also be paid by cash and cheque.

 
12. Where is my Dorsett Prestige Card not valid?

The Dorsett Prestige Card is not valid for room service or for banquets, nor is it accepted in non-participating outlets.

 
13. How long is my Dorsett Prestige membership valid for?

Your Dorsett Prestige membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The individual expiry date of each membership is embossed on Dorsett Prestige Card. The best thing about your membership card is that you can use it as often as you want throughout the validity of your membership.

 
14. Can Dorsett Prestige memberships be cancelled?

Dorsett Prestige memberships can be cancelled with the cancellation period being two weeks from receipt of their card. The whole membership package (including all certificates) must be returned to the Programme Sales Office prior to cancellation and a cancellation fee may be charged after the two-week cancellation period.

 
15. How can I be recognised as a Dorsett Prestige member?

You will be recognized as a Dorsett Prestige member when you present your exclusive Dorsett Prestige Card with your signature on the reverse side.

 
16. Is my Dorsett Prestige membership card transferable?

Your Dorsett Prestige membership card is not transferable and may not be used for accommodation or for dining by someone else. However, Dorsett Prestige offers a Dorsett Prestige Supplementary Card worth RM200 completely free of charge that you can extend to your loved ones and friends when you become a Dorsett Prestige principal member. Consider this as a token of appreciation for participating in the Dorsett Prestige programme!

 
17. Can I use both my Dorsett Prestige and Dorsett Travelers Club cards at the same time?

Yes, you can use your Dorsett Prestige card to enjoy discounts and your Dorsett Travelers Card to earn points on the remaining portion of the bill.

 
18. What happens when there are two Dorsett Prestige members dining at the same table?

Only one card per table or party is accepted, so members may dine together whenever they wish, but only one of them can use their card to obtain benefits on the total food bill.

 
19. Can I enjoy Dorsett Prestige dining privileges if I only consume beverages?

Only a flat 20% discount is applied for all types of beverages. The dining discount of up to 50% cannot be applied to beverages as dining discounts are calculated based on the number of persons dining.

 
20. Where and when are the dining privileges not valid?

The dining privileges may not be applicable during occasions such as Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, etc. Dorsett Prestige members should check with the restaurant when making a table reservation to ensure the dining privilege is available on your preferred dates. Dining benefits are also not available for room service, banquets and events held in function rooms.

 
21. Are the room privileges valid for group bookings?

Room privileges are limited to a maximum of 10 rooms per booking per night.
